RCMC
According to the Foreign Trade Policy, a Registration-cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC) is required for exporters in order to avail benefits under the policy. RCMC is necessary for exporters to avail of various advantages under this policy. Holding this certificate highly helps exporters availing benefits concerning Excise and Customs.
The RCMC certificate is issued by the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO).
Such certificate is not required by an organisation or an institution which has been exempted from requiring some form of export and import license.
There are 26 Export promotion councils and nine commodities boards in India. Export Promotional Councils (EPC) and Commodities board in India are the authorities for issuing the RCMC.
Documents Required to Register for RCMC Registration
- IEC Number issued to the exporter who is applying.
- PAN Card.
- Memorandums or the Articles of Association in the case of Private Ltd and Limited Companies.
- Partnership Deed for Partnership Firms and LLP.
- Trust Deeds in case of Trusts.
- Certificate of registered officer issued by the Registrar of the company/companies.
- GST registration certificate.
- Fssai license or Trade license in few cases.
